Zero Percent is a system designed to help restaurants move out excess food and hence eliminate food waste in their operations. It allows restaurants to post food donations and discounts in real-time. When a donation is posted on Zero Percent, the system immediately finds a volunteer, through text and app alerts, who picks up the donation and drops it off at a local pantry or soup kitchen.
When a deal is posted on Zero Percent, it is instantly available to potential customers in the vicinity. The deals can be looked up on our free iPhone and Android apps, zeropercent.us website, or on prime time displays in high-traffic areas. The deals on the Zero Percent Market require no accounts, coupons or technology. Just mention the Zero Percent deal to the restaurant.
